I guess Moxley was cold the other day and the blanket just wasn't cutting it. She some how managed to get herself under a pillow to stay warm. Quite the clever little wiener!

Regan's Recital
Our good friends Brandon and Kendra's daughter Regan had her dance recital last night. She asked Taylor and I if we would come way back in October and she was so excited to see that we really came. Her program was at Kingsbury Hall and they did a Wizard of Oz production with kids of all ages. Regan was one of the scarecrows and she did such a good job. She was very precise and was always checking to make sure the other girls were doing what they should be. It was very cute. We were so proud of Regan and are really so grateful to be a part of these little munchkins lives.
P.S. Totally bad pictures of me but very cute of Regan and Taylor. Long day at work + getting sick + rain = scary!!

Road Trip
Taylor and I decided to take a little road trip yesterday and head up to Evanston to get some fireworks for the 4th of July (all completely legal in Utah). My cousins Dillon and Laura drove up with us. We got to the Phantom Fireworks store knowing that we would probably spend a fair amount on fireworks, we always do, but we were shocked by how many fireworks we got for free. First off every firework was by one get one of equal value free. What a deal! Then if you spent $129.00 you got $140.00 in FREE fireworks. We quickly found out that non of the free fireworks we were getting for spending $129.00 were legal in Utah. We thought that we were just going to get kinda screwed but we didn't. They were totally cool and willing to swap the $140.00 in free fireworks for ones that are legal in Utah. All in all we came home with nearly $500.00 in fireworks and didn't spend even close to half of that!! I'm so excited. The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. I LOVE lighting fireworks even if they are just the silly Utah fountains. On our way back from Evanston we stopped in Park City and had lunch/brunch at the Loco Lizard. I had the yummiest egg casserole. I would definitely recommend it for brunch. After we had full bellies we ran over to the outlets because I had wanted to get some croc flip-flops. They are $40.00 here at the mall and they have a new crocs outlet in Park City so I figured I'd see if they were cheaper there. We ended up getting 3 pairs of crocs shoes for $30!!! We had so much fun yesterday. It was really fun to just hang with Laura and Dillon. My family really is so close and we love spending time together. All in all it was an awesome day.
Going Veggie

Taylor and I have decided to go vegetarian. I'm extremely picky when it comes to meat. I don't like to cut it, I'm always examining it for fat, I won't eat meat on the bone, and the thought of touching raw chicken makes my squeamish. I had slowly been eating less and less meat and had been thinking about going vegetarian for a while but when Taylor brought it up to me a few weeks ago we decided to take the plunge. Today was day one of our veggie life and I have to say that I think that this is going to work out great for me. Eating veggie style isn't as hard as shopping veggie style. You don't realize how many things have meat in them until you really start looking. My Aunt Michelle and cousin Laura have been vegetarian for a few years now and that makes it easier. They have tons of good meal ideas and great advice to make sure we are still getting all of the protein we need. Hopefully this will be a healthier way of living for us.

IKEA Insanity

Taylor has wanted a Poang chair from IKEA for a long time. They are super comfy chairs but they run about $100.00. Well last Saturday IKEA had the chair and cushion on sale for $39! My aunt Michelle and I decided to go down and try our luck to get one. The store opened at 10 a.m. and we got there at about 8:40. There were already 32 people in line in front of us and we were hesitant as to whether or not we were really going to even get one. Most of the time when places have sales like this they only have a very small amount of the item on sale. We ended up getting our chairs in the colors we wanted and as we were going downstairs to pick them up, we saw an insane line. We asked a worker if that was the line to pick up your chairs and she said that it was the line to get a ticket to pick up the chair (we had already gotten our tickets). She said that there were about 900 people there to get these chairs. 900!! I couldn't believe it!! Luckily we got ours and Taylor has loved playing his Xbox while sitting in his new chair.
Precious!

Zoo Fun
I love this time of year. I'm not one for the scorching summer heat but when it just starts to get warm again, I can't get enough of being out doors. Since last Saturday was so nice, we decided to take Taylor's cousin's girls to the zoo. My friend Kati from work and her husband came with us and brought their nieces and nephew. We had so much fun. These girls are always so well behaved and we just love spending time with them. We told them that they had to choose whether they wanted to ride the train or the new carousel. They chose the carousel so I sent Taylor off to buy tickets and he came back with a whole handful. He told me that he thought that the girls had been so good that they deserved to do it all. And he always tells me that I'm going to be the soft one when we have kids. Yeah right!! The day was gorgeous and we couldn't have had a better day.

4 Years Down And Many More To Come
I know I'm about a week late on this post but unfortunately I've been sick for the past week with a nasty viral mess. Last Tuesday, May 5th, Taylor and I had our 4 year anniversary. We weren't really able to celebrate on the 5th with me being under the weather but we were able to finally head out this past Saturday. We went to the Harvest at Thanksgiving Point and had a nice, quiet dinner together. I really feel so incredibly lucky to be married to such a wonderful person. We have our ups and downs and through it all I know we love each other more and more every day. Its so much fun to spend every day with my best friend. Just last night he came to bed at 3:00 am and woke me up. We stayed up talking and laughing for a half an hour about how we knew we had to get up early for work today but we were just enjoying being together talking. So with 4 crazy years behind us I can't help but wonder how amazing the years to come will be. Happy Anniversary Babe. I love you!!

Confession

After telling myself over and over again that I would not give in and get hooked on those cheesy vampire books that everyone has been raving about, I caved. While not feeling well about a month back I borrowed Twilight from my sister. I mainly wanted to read it just to see what all of the hype was about and now I'm addicted. Yes, I am a Twilight addict. I can't put it down. I made Taylor go out and buy me all of the books as I am sure that I will want to read them again several times over. I even made him buy me the movie without even seeing it before the purchase. I don't know what it is. I find myself laughing at the cheesy love scenes in the book and yet I can't seem to put it down. What will I be hooked on next that I swore I would never get into? Facebook, Myspace? Who knows but for now I'll just stick to my Twilight addiction.

Sooo Excited
When I found out they were coming I knew I had to go. I got tickets to see Billy Joel and Elton John and I'm stoked!!! Tickets were a little pricey but can you really put a price on seeing not one but two musical legends? November seems so far away but I know it's going to be great.
